Dancecatz Academy is the Upper School of babyballet Chichester and South Hants which was established in January 2019.
We offer classes in ballet, tap and acro for ages 4 to 10 years but we intend to grow with your child according to their needs and aspirations.
As in our babyballet classes we retain the ethos of a friendly environment with encouraging professionally qualified teachers who care about each child.
In class we will be working towards ISTD examinations, however, no-one has to take an exam if they really don’t want to.
The International Dance Rewards programme will be in place for everybody. This works very nicely alongside the ISTD Syllabus and rewards the smaller steps essential for reaching the end goal. There are badges and certificates to be earned every term.
Our classes are 45 minutes each. Tap and Ballet are combined, 15 minutes of tap followed by 30 minutes of ballet. Acro is also 45 minutes long. We offer a trial of three lessons for £18 for each 45 minute class. Please register online now to book your trial – go to Register.
Opportunities are available to take part in local Dance Festivals. Please ask your teacher if you are interested. Everyone also has the opportunity to take part in our Annual Show with beautiful costumes and the full stage experience.

The Dancecatz uniform is compulsory when attending our classes (following a successful trial). This is also part of the International Dance Rewards requirements. Details can be found in the uniform section.
